In 2012, I decided to take a break from the corporate world to spend some time with my daughter, Hannah. Two years later, along came my son, Elijah and things at home are never quite the same again!

As a stay-home mom, I’m always busy raising my children, making our house a home, and on a lookout for ways to keep the little ones entertained with DIY projects and games.

I never thought I would homeschool Hannah but now, I’m enjoying every moment of it! The days are not always bright and dandy, I have my fair share of struggles and anxieties. But I thank God for the rainbow after every storm. The life lessons I’ve picked up have been humbling and inspiring. I’ve only begun my journey to being a mom.  There’s still so much to discover and learn!

Having constantly searching around for ideas and activities for Hannah, I’ve stumbled across amazing blogs by moms. I fell in love with the blogging community. I’ve been sharing the fun things we do in the house with my friends and family. And now, I’ve decided to hop on the bandwagon and share with everyone our projects and connecting with like-minded parents.

I’ve started to homeschool Hannah at around 19 months using two fantastic biblical curricula, “ABC Jesus Loves Me” and “Hubbard’s Cupboard” .  They are both free.  Here’s our list of homeschool choices over the years.

Feel free to drop me a line if you wish to discuss the issues or activities I’ve blogged about, and don’t find the comment box an appropriate place. 🙂

Thank you for your encouragement 🙂 This newbie has lots to learn and the blog-o-sphere has provided such a wonderful environment for me to learn from other homeschooling families. Btw, love your “pipe cleaner people” idea! Shall try it with Hannah soon. 🙂
