Week 13: triangles and ribbon dancing

We’re on to week 13 of ABCJLM’S curriculum.

I’ve saved some scrap felt (from the Chicka, Chicka, ABC craft) and used them to teach Hannah about triangles.

As a learning aid, I’ve created a big triangle on the floor, using raffia strings.

Every now and then, when reading the “I See Triangles” book, I would point out the shape to Hannah. Very quickly, she learnt to do the same too.

The week’s gross motor skill activity – ribbon dancing was enjoyable. It’s easy to make, plus, it helps to improve Hannah’s hand-eye coordination.
